Summer Invitational Exhibition's A to Z reception set for July 9

June 26 2026

AUBURN, Ala.- The Auburn Arts Association and the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center (JDCAC) invite the public to the Summer Invitational Exhibition: A to Z reception on Thursday, July 9, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Art Gallery at JDCAC.

The Summer Invitational Exhibition features 30 local artists working in different mediums to suit the theme. Each artist randomly chose a letter in May to base their artwork around and had a month to create a piece in any way they interpreted, with the only caveat being that the art must have the chosen letter included.

Meet the artists involved with the A to Z exhibition at the reception and help to celebrate their works. The reception is free and open to the public. The exhibition will be on display in the Gallery from June 25 – July 31.

For more information, please contact JDCAC at (334) 501-2963.
